Small Town Post Offices
The USPS is older than the United States itself, founded on July 26, 1775 by the Second Continental Congress with Benjamin Franklin appointed as the first Postmaster General. It’s rich History is deeply intertwined with the very development of the nation itself. The small town rural post office once served as an important hub for communication and personal interactions. Often located in dual-purpose locations or tucked into tiny spaces these little gems are quickly disappearing from the American lansdscape.
